Overview

ISO 41011:2024 - Facility management - Vocabulary is the International Organization for Standardization’s updated glossary for facility management (FM). This second edition defines consistent terms and definitions used across the FM discipline to improve clarity in planning, delivery and governance of built‑environment services. It replaces ISO 41011:2017 and adds new term categories (notably technology and sustainability) and many contemporary entries such as workspace, constructed asset, service life, smart building, greenhouse gas and well‑being.
