ISO 4919:2012 - Carpets: Determination of tuft withdrawal force specifies a standardized laboratory method to measure the force required to pull tufts or loops from textile floor coverings. - Results & Reporting:
- Report mean tuft withdrawal force (N) and coefficient of variation excluding broken results; give mean breaking force for broken tufts.
- Include test date, machine type (CRE/CRL), number of tufts, and note if multiple tufts were withdrawn or if different yarn types were tested separately.
