Overview
ISO 5755:2022 - Sintered metal material - Specifications is the fourth edition (2022) of the international standard that defines requirements for sintered metal materials used in bearings and structural parts. The standard specifies acceptable chemical composition, and mechanical and physical properties, and it describes required test methods, sampling rules and designation systems for powder-metallurgy (PM) materials. It replaces ISO 5755:2012 and includes updated metallography guidance (Annex B) and equivalence tables with other standards (Annex C).
