Overview
ISO 6445:2005 - Doors - Behaviour between two different climates - Test method defines a standardized laboratory procedure to determine how door leaves and complete doorsets behave when exposed to two contrasting climates on their faces. The method measures deformation (bow), and - where required - operating forces and air permeability after climatic exposure. This second edition aligns with EN 1121:2000 and is intended for repeatable, comparable door testing in product development, quality control and compliance assessment.

- Scope and principle: Subject the door to two different controlled climates (warm and cold) on each side and measure resulting bow of the lock-side long edge, plus optional operating forces and air permeability measurements.
- Bow measurement: Per EN 952 procedure; recorded to an accuracy of 0.1 mm. Bow can be positive or negative depending on orientation.
- Operating forces: Measured in accordance with EN 12046-2; each determination must be completed before bow loss exceeds 10%.
