ISO 7387-1:1983 - Adhesives with solvents for assembly of PVC‑U pipe elements - Characterization - Part 1: Basic test methods defines the basic laboratory methods used to characterize solvent‑based adhesives for unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC‑U) piping. Part 1 specifies three fundamental tests used to decide the uniformity and basic properties of these adhesives: viscosity (dynamic and Brookfield), conventional dry matter content, and ash content (where applicable).
