Overview
ISO 8013:2019 - Rubber, vulcanized - Determination of creep in compression or shear - specifies a laboratory method to measure creep behavior of vulcanized rubber under continuous compressive or shear loading. The standard applies to continuous (not intermittent) deformation and defines the test setup, specimen preparation, measurement accuracy and the calculations used to express results such as creep increment, creep index, and compliance increment. ISO 8013:2019 is the fourth edition and includes apparatus, calibration and reporting requirements for reproducible creep testing.
