Overview
ISO 8206:1991 defines acceptance tests for oxygen cutting machines to verify reproducible accuracy and operational characteristics on the user’s premises. Intended primarily for stationary cross‑carriage machines used for shape cutting and/or parallel trimming, the standard also applies to machines using other thermal cutting processes. Acceptance testing under ISO 8206 is intended as the final inspection to demonstrate machine performance independently from process variables and to form a basis for delivery contracts.
