ISO 8653:2016 - Jewellery - Ring-sizes - Definition, measurement and designation specifies a harmonized method to measure and designate ring sizes during manufacturing and quality control. The standard defines the ring-size (the circumference of the largest cylinder that can be inserted in the ring), the required ring stick characteristics used for measurement, and rules for labeling ring sizes (designation). - Flat inside profile - measurement point at the bottom of ring thickness.
