Overview
ISO 9182-4:2023 - "Tools for pressing - Guide pillars - Part 4: Type C, pillars with taper lead and bush" - is the fourth edition international standard that defines the geometry, tolerances, material guidance, hardness and designation of guide pillars (type C) with a taper lead and matching bush for use in press tools. It replaces the 2020 edition and consolidates dimensional tables, mounting details and options (with/without thread) needed for consistent manufacture and interchangeability of press-tool guide components.
