Overview
ISO 9333:2022 - "Dentistry - Brazing materials" defines requirements and test methods for dental brazing materials used to join metallic restorations. The third edition updates composition, corrosion, tensile and melting-range requirements and excludes brazing alloys with silver as the main component. It harmonizes key criteria with ISO 22674 and ISO 10271 and adds requirements for test reports, instructions for use (IFU) and optional labelling of working temperature.

- Solidus/liquidus and manufacturer-specified working temperature (based on liquidus + manufacturer offset) are covered; IFU must include working temperature.
