Overview
ISO 9749:2000 specifies the characteristics, dimensions and load ratings for stud-ends in corrosion‑resistant steel swaged on aircraft control wire rope. It defines configuration, dimensional tolerances, masses and breaking loads for stud‑end fittings used in aircraft control systems and requires conformity with the drawings (Figure 1) and tabulated values (Table 1) given in the standard.
