Overview
ISO/IEC 13247:1997 specifies the signalling protocol for basic call/connection control at the Q reference Point between Private Integrated Services Network Exchanges (PINXs) within a Broadband Private Integrated Services Network (B-PISN) using ATM. As part of the B-QSIG family, this International Standard defines message formats, states, information elements and procedures to establish, manage and clear point-to-point and point-to-multipoint virtual channel/virtual path connections.
