Overview
ISO/IEC 19763-16:2021 - part of the Metamodel Framework for Interoperability (MFI) - defines a metamodel for document model registration. It specifies how to register and describe document schemata (for example XML Schema and JSON Schema) within a model registry so that document-level metadata can be discovered, compared and used for interoperability. The standard is designed to be applicable to all current document model specifications and to integrate with metadata registries.
