ISO/PAS 19486:2025 - Intelligent transport systems - Acceleration control for pedal error (ACPE) specifies functional requirements and test procedures for systems that detect and suppress unintended acceleration caused by pedal errors. The Publicly Available Specification applies to light vehicles (categories M1 and N1) and excludes large vehicles and motorcycles.
