Overview
ISO/TR 12350:2013 - "Road vehicles - Injury risk curves for the evaluation of occupant protection in side impact tests" provides standardized injury risk curves for assessing occupant protection in lateral (side) impact tests using the WorldSID 50th side-impact dummy. The Technical Report documents the methodology for building curves from post‑mortem human subject (PMHS) data, describes dummy data collection and scaling, and includes age-adjustment provisions. The curves support tests performed to ISO 10997 and tests used by regulatory bodies and consumer safety organizations.

- Age adjustment: Injury curves include age‑adjustment formulae (Table 5). Curves are presented for a 45‑year‑old male (commonly used average) and for the median PMHS age (67 years) to reflect confidence differences.
- Statistical analysis and documentation: Methodology and statistical approaches are described; detailed test data and supporting material are provided across Annexes A–J.
