Overview

ISO/TR 15377:2023 - "Measurement of fluid flow by means of pressure-differential devices - Guidelines for the specification of orifice plates, nozzles and Venturi tubes beyond the scope of ISO 5167 series" - provides practical guidance on the geometry, installation and use of pressure-differential primary devices that are not fully covered by the ISO 5167 family. The Technical Report addresses non‑standard or special configurations including conical‑entrance orifice plates, quarter‑circle orifice plates, eccentric orifice plates and Venturi tubes with 10.5° convergent angles, as well as square‑edged orifices and nozzles used under conditions outside ISO 5167.
