Overview
ISO/TR 19560:2025 - Intelligent transport systems - Information interface framework between automated driving systems and users - is a Technical Report that specifies a classification framework for notifications exchanged between users and automated driving systems (ADS) of level 3 or higher. The report focuses on what types of information need to be exchanged (and their criticality and priority), including transmission between nomadic devices (e.g., smartphones, smart watches) and ADS when a user is actively engaged with such a device. It does not prescribe how information should be presented.
