ISO/TS 8611-4:2013 provides a statistical procedure to predict creep responses in stiffness tests for plastic pallets using regression analyses. The Technical Specification lets test laboratories shorten long-duration static stiffness tests (normally 24 h or 48 h) by running a 4 h reduced load test and predicting deflection behavior for the remainder of the test and the relaxation period. The method is intended for use with the static stiffness tests referenced in ISO 8611-1:2011 (tests 1b, 3b, 4b, 5b, 7b) and applies at ambient temperature only.
