What is this PAS about?
Sponsored by the Greyhound Board of Great Britain , this PAS was written as a result of Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs’ recommendations following a government review of greyhound racing legislation.
It provides a kennel standard for racing greyhounds that supports good welfare practice.
Who is this PAS for?
It will be used by trainers of racing greyhounds.

Other breeds of dog
Kennels that only accommodate retired greyhounds
Commercial greyhound breeding establishments
Greyhound track kennels
Kennels that are only for greyhounds under 15 months old

It supplies a consensus-based specification for greyhound trainers' residential kennels based on good practice and the collective experience of animal welfare organizations, veterinarians, government and industry specialists.
