What is PAS 7100:2022 about?
This two-part PAS is designed to help anyone placing products on the consumer market to comply with product safety legislation. PAS 7100:2022 looks at the processes, procedures, roles and responsibilities associated with executing product recalls and other corrective actions.
Who is PAS 7100:2022 for?
Part I is intended for businesses, including manufacturers, designers, importers, distributors, repairers, refurbishers and the operators of online marketplaces for consumer products.
Part II is intended for regulators that support businesses with meeting the guidance in Part I and the implementation of a product safety incident plan (PSIP).

Part 1 sets out a code of practice for businesses, providing practical guidance to help them:
Prepare to manage a possible safety related product recall or other corrective action
Establish mechanisms to monitor the safety of consumer products
Investigate any potential product safety issue
