What is PD CEN 17338- Determination of the lime requirement in soil about? PD CEN 17338 is a standard that covers the ammonium acetate buffer method for the determination of lime requirement in soil which enables you to control the acidity in the soil and improve soil structure. PD CEN 17338 specifies a method for the determination of the lime requirement of acid soils to target pH levels at requested time of maintenance as determined by reaction with 0,1 mol/l ammonium acetate pH 5.5.
