1 Scope This document describes the need for standardization of graphics and images in the health informatics domain. It focuses on the current status of adoption and presents an overview of the opportunities as well as challenges in creating sets of standardized images and graphics. A plan of action is proposed to serve as the future roadmap for implementation.
