Overview - EN ISO 10628-1:2015 (ISO 10628-1:2014)
EN ISO 10628-1:2015 specifies the classification, content and graphical representation of flow diagrams used in the chemical and petrochemical industry. It defines drafting rules and minimum information requirements for the main diagram types - block diagrams, process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID) - and clarifies their role in the plant documentation lifecycle (planning, construction, commissioning, operation, maintenance and decommissioning). This European adoption is identical to ISO 10628-1:2014 and does not apply to electrical engineering diagrams. It is a collective application of ISO 15519.
