EN ISO 7787-1:2016 - Dentistry - Laboratory cutters - Part 1: Steel laboratory cutters (ISO 7787-1:2016) defines the dimensional and basic performance requirements for the nine most commonly used steel laboratory cutters used in dental laboratories. The standard ensures interchangeability and consistent quality for cutters used on dental materials (and also used in podiatry). It does not cover special blade geometries such as spiral blades or cross-cut teeth.
