Overview
IEC 62608-1:2025 - Multimedia home network configuration - Basic reference model - Part 1: System model defines a system-level reference for automatic configuration of IP devices in home networks. This second edition updates the 2014 version by adding wireless LAN devices and cloud servers, and specifies the roles, functions and interactions required to configure devices that are cable or wireless LAN connected, switched on, and supporting IP.
