Overview
ISO 2296:2018 specifies the dimensions and mechanical characteristics of metal slitting saws (metric series) with fine and coarse teeth. The standard covers dimensional tolerances, tooth pitch and tooth count relationships, and options for hub, keying and drive features. It applies to both fine-tooth and coarse-tooth metal slitting saws and includes guidance for extending tooth-series ranges according to the graph in Annex A.
