Overview
ISO 4671:2022 - "Rubber and plastics hoses and hose assemblies - Methods of measurement of the dimensions of hoses and the lengths of hose assemblies" - defines standardized, repeatable methods for measuring hose geometry and assembly lengths. It covers measurement of inside diameter (ID), outside diameter (OD) (including diameter over reinforcement for hydraulic hoses), wall thickness, concentricity, lining and cover thickness, methods for length measurement and identification of measurement points, and a method for verifying the through-bore of hydraulic hose assemblies.
