Abstract

Overview

ISO 8144-2:1995 specifies requirements for bonded mineral wool thermal insulating mats (batts and rolls) intended for horizontal applications in ventilated roof spaces with unrestricted ventilation. The standard defines product properties, acceptance tolerances, testing and marking information. These mats are not designed to support imposed loads and are intended to preserve the ventilation path in roof construction.
